R. Cadell Cook II’s FOUR POINTS is on-time as the Nation’s political climate heats up. Four average citizens have been selected by the newly elected tech-genius President of the United States to participate in a game that will determine the policy of the new administration. Will they win hundreds of thousands of dollars and guide the future of the country, or will their differences cost them everything?
Author of “Weepers”, a five-star rated science fiction novel on Amazon.com, and writer/director of “Rats in a Cage: The Truth about Racism,” Cadell firmly believes that the power of story can change the course of a society. His 14 years of experience in post production audio mixing and sound design have prepared him to write projects with multimedia appeal. Cadell is the author of “P.O.V.,” a short story featured in the first two issues of BTFL Magazine (January and February, 2018). “Ghost Me,” a short film written and directed by Cadell, premiered at the 2018 DC Black Film Festival.
Cadell created an audio play for YouTube.com called, “The Greatest Excursion,” where he wrote, sound designed, composed music, and performed as lead vocal actor. His short film, “Don Don The Magnificent” is also available on YouTube, along with a collection of videos that explore African American scientists and innovators excluded from popular history. “Four Points”, his latest short film, explores the power, and potential danger of personal perspective. Cadell Cooks’s latest film, FOUR POINTS, screened at the DC Black Film Festival and the Academy Award Qualifying Run & Shoot Marth’s Vineyard African American Film Festival.
